Ryan's Supercharge Workshop was an immensely empowering experience and process of self-realisation and organisation.

Ryan enabled me to really break down everything I want to achieve in my music career and put it in the right order of steps, which is something I had been overwhelmed by and so far, unable to do myself.

He listened to what I wanted and needed to achieve and made a tailored plan using his expert knowledge in the music industry and marketing to create a roadmap. He catapulted my results and within one year I released a song on Spotify – something which I never dreamed was even possible without a record deal. Without Ryan this would have literally taken me years.

Ryan implemented an Artist development programme – which comprised of a 3 day songwriting retreat – helping me put together 3 demo’s initially with expert guidance every step of the way.

There are many great independent musicians out there who believe that all they need to become successful, is to be good at what they do then someone will swoop in and sign them to a major record deal... I used to be one of those musicians. The truth though is in all likelihood, no one is coming to rescue you no matter how good you think you are and you will have to do most of the musical leg work in getting your name out there on your own.

Runway Vertical however, has given me the opportunity to take the bull by the horns and take control of my own destiny and become the de facto CEO of my musical journey.

The music industry has changed. Musicians and artists now have the power and we must learn the new tools of marketing, social networking and production. We are able to produce our own music, source our own material, find our own gigs and distribute our own products.

With this freedom comes a great responsibility. There are countless jobs to be learned, tools to be used and avenues to walk down. Working with Runway Vertical and being mentored by Ryan has shifted the way I think about my career.
Before the autumn, I was just playing a few gigs and occasionally running at what seemed like an insurmountable wall of internet jargon and cyber-obstacles. Ryan is helping us demystify what it means to be an artist in the 21st century and what we need to do with regards to marketing and strategy.

Interestingly, as I take more and more interest in my day to day music career, I am filled with more passion for all my artistic endeavours. Projects that have lain on the burner for years are now coming to fruition. Extra content, books, and recording projects have suddenly fired up in my life as well as gaining a musical partner and increasing my gig and collaboration output.

There is a team of musicians at Runway Vertical and joining them feels like I have a goal and a purpose now. It feels like we can grow together and use each other’s experience to fast track our own learning. This of course has all been made possible by the architect of the collaborative, Ryan Koriya. It feels like we are on the verge of a new movement and I look forward to the art we produce and all the people we can reach and bring along for the ride.

The name of the game is good vibes and good music. The world is at a junction point. It needs as many good vibes as we can put into it. That means celebrating creativity and getting as many talented people to succeed as possible. This is the future - Matt
